Your Role: Java Developer - Microservices & Web Applications
Conwiss Consulting | Part of Hyand is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative software solutions across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consulting services in the development and implementation of front-end and back-end solutions.
- Contribute to exciting IT projects using cutting-edge technologies, focusing on microservices, APIs, and web applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices, interfaces, and web frontends.
- Integrate diverse database systems, including relational and document-oriented databases.
- Collaborate effectively within agile Scrum or Kanban teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain high code quality standards by conducting thorough code reviews and adhering to best practices.
- Share responsibility throughout the entire product lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in agile software development (Scrum/Kanban) with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Deep understanding of Java backend development using Spring or Quarkus frameworks and microservices architecture.
- Extensive experience working with relational database systems (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL), document-oriented databases (e.g., MongoDB, CosmosDB), and ORM tools like Hibernate.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker) and cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of REST API design, implementation, and testing using tools like curl or Postman.
- Experience designing and implementing web frontends using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with source code management (Git) and dependency management systems (Maven, Gradle, npm).
- Proven ability to create unit tests (JUnit) and utilize mocking frameworks (Mockito).
- Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
