Role Overview

We are in search of a seasoned Senior IT Category Manager to spearhead our IT procurement initiatives across the EMEALA region while ensuring alignment with global standards. In this critical position, you will engage with diverse regional and global teams, negotiate high-stakes contracts, and enhance our IT expenditure. Your proficiency will be essential in driving efficiency, generating cost savings, and fostering innovation within our technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and implement the IT category strategy for EMEALA, ensuring alignment with overarching Global Procurement goals and business aims. Oversee comprehensive procurement processes, encompassing vendor selection, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management. Partner with internal departments (IT, Finance, Legal) to facilitate smooth procurement operations. Discover cost-reduction and Trade Working Capital (TWC) opportunities, promote competitive bidding, and supervise supplier performance. Remain informed about industry trends, new technologies, and market shifts. Cultivate robust relationships with key suppliers and partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred). At least 8 years of experience in IT procurement, with a focus on global markets. Demonstrated success in managing intricate IT categories and realizing cost efficiencies. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders. Knowledge of legal and contractual elements of procurement. Strong communication and leadership skills.
