About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to join our team at Contabo GmbH. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our platform, as well as analyzing requirements and creating technical conceptions in collaboration with your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of our platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Analyze requirements and create technical conceptions in collaboration with your team.
  • Develop and improve existing functions of our platform, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical initiatives.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to leverage them to drive business value.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on leadership and technical expertise.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with Python and asynchronous programming, with a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies.
