Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Communications department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Omio's reputation with consumer, business, and trade media.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy to promote Omio's brand and services.
- Collaborate with the VP of Brand & Communications and Head of Communications to create and distribute communication materials, such as press releases, statements, and talking points.
- Manage relationships with local, domestic, and international journalists across various media outlets.
- Work with our data and user research team to extract valuable customer insights and create compelling data-driven stories for PR and social media.
- Establish and maintain a press room, devise strategies to enhance media visibility, and monitor results.
- Communicate insights and successes to stakeholders through regular reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with consumer and social media trends, and manage our PR content calendar.
Requirements
- Strong communication and writing skills in English.
- Experience working in public relations, communications, or a related field.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital PR, and content growth strategies.
- Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with peers to launch new initiatives.
- Experience with extracting and analyzing data into compelling stories.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, PR, communications, or a related field.
