YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM Formulate and execute a detailed strategy for CO2 reduction aligned with organizational objectives while ensuring adherence to all applicable environmental laws and standards. Analyze and track carbon emissions data, delivering regular updates and insights to senior leadership. Collaborate with various departments to embed carbon reduction initiatives within business practices. Lead and guide a team of sustainability experts, offering mentorship and support to meet departmental goals. Engage with external partners, including regulatory agencies, industry associations, and environmental groups. Promote awareness and understanding of carbon reduction strategies among employees. Oversee and manage the departmental budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Research and evaluate new technologies and partnerships that can aid in carbon emission reductions while staying informed about industry trends and best practices in carbon management. Candidate Profile A degree in sustainability management, environmental science, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in sustainability and knowledge of carbon footprint management is advantageous. Strong project management capabilities and a keen understanding of sustainability and CO2 reduction. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for interpreting complex data and implementing effective measures. Proven leadership and management skills, with the capacity to engage and motivate stakeholders and team members at all levels. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, managing multiple projects concurrently. Proficient communication skills in both German and English.
