Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement and Logistics Manager to lead and manage procurement and logistics operations for a large-scale LNG terminal project in the Heavy Civil Construction sector.
About the Project:
The project involves the construction of two full containment cryogenic LNG storage tanks, each with a capacity of 240,000 m3, as well as the development of associated buildings, access roads, and regasification facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services essential for the project's success.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the flow of materials and resources to the construction site, ensuring efficiency and minimizing delays.
- Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and project teams to maintain seamless operations and adherence to project timelines.
- Oversee supply chain management, including inventory control, material tracking, and transportation logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and logistics.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement proactive measures to mitigate these risks.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in procurement and logistics management within the heavy civil construction sector, with a strong background in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in managing complex supply chains, particularly in the context of energy or LNG projects.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus but not required.
