We are seeking a highly skilled People Operations Specialist to join our team at Zenjob GmbH.

The role

As a People Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining effective people processes that support the full employee lifecycle. This includes onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and performance management.

You will work closely with our Director of People & Culture to develop and implement a people-centric strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals. This will involve analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for process improvements.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining employee processes from onboarding to exit
  • Managing operational personnel administration, including document creation and management, HRIS, and data management
  • Providing support to employees on administrative and operational questions, and advising people managers on people-related and labor law matters
  • Analyzing key people data, such as company growth, retention, employee satisfaction, absenteeism, and vacation
  • Evaluating, selecting, and managing partners and suppliers for P&C software and perks & benefits
  • Partnering with the Director of People & Culture to set a people-centric People Operations Strategy & OKRs and bringing it to life by designing new frameworks and managing related initiatives with the team
Requirements
  • Experience in a People Operations / HR Admin role with a focus on process improvement and employee experience
  • Knowledge of employment law, immigration law & visa processes, payroll, and taxes
  • Strong organizational talent with the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with employees and stakeholders
  • An eye for detail and a knack for ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Fluent in both German and English
