Youth Worker

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Youth Worker / Social Educator to join our team at Evangelisches Stadtjugendwerk Reutlingen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote the well-being and empowerment of young people.

• Develop and lead programs for children, youth, and young adults, focusing on education, personal development, and community engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and community partners to design and deliver programs that meet the needs of our target audience.
• Provide guidance and support to volunteers and staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality programs.
• Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to inform program development and improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, and community groups to promote partnerships and collaborations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in youth work, social education, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
• Ability to develop and implement programs that are engaging, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of young people.
• Knowledge of community development principles and practices.
