Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled External Relations Specialist to join our team at QVC. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plans to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote QVC's brand and values through media relations, social media, and other channels.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and customers to build brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement communications strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Manage and execute events, activations, and other communications initiatives to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, social media conversations, and other metrics to inform communications strategies and optimize results.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of QVC's business, products, and services to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve communications strategies and tactics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing communications strategies that drive results.
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
