Financial Compliance Manager (m/w/d)

Key Responsibilities
Continuous enhancement of the accounting-related internal control system (ICS) Conducting an annual group-wide ICS inventory Ensuring a comprehensive and group-wide adherence to accounting-related ICS Guaranteeing adequate and thorough documentation of accounting processes across all subsidiaries, along with centralized document archiving Ensuring proper and complete documentation of established controls, as well as standardization and automation throughout the Südzucker Group Implementing processes for newly acquired companies Ongoing preparation and utilization of documentation for internal knowledge management and support during the onboarding of new employees Participation and organization of relevant cross-company projects Independent coordination with the group auditor KPMG, local auditors, internal and external consultants, budget monitoring, and transparency creation for the Head of Digital Finance Transformation Creation of presentations, reports, and dashboards using contemporary visualization methods and tools (Process Mining, IBCS, SAC, BW/BI, ...) Contribution to the preparation of relevant chapters in the annual report Close collaboration with the Business Process Owner for Finance Accounting processes and the Accounting Departments of the Südzucker Group Close coordination with Corporate Internal Audit (monitoring operational and non-financial risks) and the Financial Risk Manager (monitoring financial risks)Candidate Profile
Degree in Business Administration and/or completed commercial training with relevant professional experience and willingness for further education Several years of professional experience in auditing, finance & accounting, or in public accounting Strong passion and capability for analytical tasks Good understanding of (Finance) accounting processes in SAP ERP systems Proficient in MS Office, with ideally initial experience in SAP BW/BI and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Experience with Process Mining tools is desirable Affinity for working with numbers and interest in IT-based solutions Good command of English, both written and spoken Willingness to travel, assertiveness, and a high degree of communication and teamwork skills Methodically structured working style-
