Your Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Contract Manager to join our Division Hydro team in Heidenheim. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for steering contract management to ensure the project is executed and documented in accordance with the contract.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contract progress and resolve disputes to ensure project execution and documentation align with contractual requirements.
  • Guide and advise project team members on contractual conditions and relevant terms of law, in consultation with our legal advisor.
  • Identify risks and develop risk mitigation plans associated with cost forecasting and time planning.
  • Assess and resolve commercial impacts arising from disruptions during execution.
  • Establish a culture of contractual deviation awareness within the project team, promoting proactive variation management.
  • Steer the team to adhere to the defined claim/variation procedure.
  • Ensure team documents events associated with delay or disruption in accordance with the contract.
  • Ensure onshore installation adheres to contract management.
  • Actively lead dispute matters, including defining a claim strategy, structuring the claim, establishing entitlement, and proper substantiation.
  • Manage risk balance (risks, chances, and claims) and cash flow (cash in and cash out) including reporting.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or international law, and + years of professional experience in commercial/contract business, including international EPC contracts.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge in accounting, legal, tax, finance, and insurance matters.
  • Knowledge of contractual risk management.
  • Proficiency in Primavera is a plus.
  • Overseas experience is a plus.
  • Good English skills in reading and writing, with knowledge of other languages a plus.
  • Willingness to make regular business trips.
