Senior Project Engineer for Primary & Metals Division

Overview

Our Primary & Metals Division has successfully delivered numerous industrial projects with varying CAPEX investments, establishing itself as a leading provider of engineering and construction services within the metals sector.

We are committed to facilitating the environmental transition of the industry, addressing the growing demand for sustainable materials in the upcoming decades. Our expertise includes conducting logistical studies and developing Master Plans for future projects. We pride ourselves on delivering cost-effective, reliable, and safe solutions for manufacturing processes, utilities, and infrastructure.

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee the planning and management of diverse project packages, ranging from minor enhancements to extensive initiatives. Your project management responsibilities may encompass multiple phases and specializations:

· Project feasibility analysis: process documentation, facility layout, comprehensive timelines, procurement strategies, and financial assessments.

· Project preparation: investment evaluations, foundational engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement activities.

· Project execution: project management; detailed engineering, construction oversight, commissioning, and operational management.

Your role will involve collaborating with the Project Team, utilizing our project management methodologies and state-of-the-art tools to assist clients in achieving their objectives.

The Senior Project Engineer will define technical solutions and coordinate technical alignment across various equipment, facilities, utilities, components, products, and systems for a diverse clientele. You will oversee segments of the project lifecycle, prepare status updates, and ensure timely delivery of documentation.

Qualifications

· Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.

· Proficiency in English and German is essential.

· Knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.

· Willingness to travel as required.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience working with diverse, multi-disciplinary, and multicultural teams.

· Ability to effectively engage with management and project team members.

· Proven capability to collaborate with project team members to meet project objectives.
