YOUR ROLE
As a Hydrology Expert (m/f/d), you will be integrated into the OneWater organization, reporting directly to the Director of the Climate, Resilience, and Environment unit. This dynamic and expanding team consists of nearly 30 professionals, including Environmental Engineers, Hydrologists, Water Resource Specialists, Geomatics Experts, and Climate Change Analysts, based in various locations. Your expertise will be pivotal in executing international projects from our central office and other locations. You will enhance internal collaboration, facilitate knowledge exchange, and contribute to our expertise in complex projects focused on flood management, water resource optimization, river basin planning, irrigation strategies, water transfer initiatives, and disaster risk mitigation in the face of climate change. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing critical input for the development of master plans and feasibility studies Engaging in proposal preparation Supporting the technical advancement of the team and our service offerings Traveling as necessary for project needsOUR OFFER

Degree in Civil Engineering (Dr. Ing./Dipl. Ing. or MSc TH/University) with a specialization in hydrology, water resource management, or climate change. At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, with international assignments being advantageous Demonstrated expertise in key areas such as hydrology, hydrological modeling, water resource management, and climate change impact analysis, alongside a broad interdisciplinary knowledge of water and energy infrastructure projects Experience in cryosphere studies, hydraulic modeling, and sediment transport modeling is a plus Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R) and GIS software Skills in proposal development Fluency in English is essential, with additional language skills (preferably German or French) being beneficialINTERESTED IN THIS OPPORTUNITY?
