Financial Treasury Specialist with a focus on Risk Management:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and enhance the organization's hedging strategy and associated processes in collaboration with the VP of Treasury.
- Establish and oversee effective measures for identifying financial risks.
- Conduct regular assessments of foreign exchange exposure and offer strategic advice on hedging practices.
- Assess the effectiveness of the organization's hedging initiatives.
- Engage in trading of foreign exchange derivatives, primarily through established platforms.
- Review and refine the organization’s investment strategy and related processes in partnership with the VP of Treasury.
- Manage the investment portfolio to optimize profitability from interest income.
- Execute trades of investment instruments using established trading platforms.
- Build and enhance financial risk management frameworks, including processes, agreements, tools, and stakeholder relationships.
- Assist the VP of Treasury with financing initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to established processes, policies, and controls, including compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline.
- Additional professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, or Banking.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
- Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems such as IFS and SAP is beneficial.
