About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Solution Architect to drive harmonization, simplification, and innovation in our IT landscape. As a Technical Leader, you'll define Reference Architectures and ensure fully integrated solutions across multiple domains.

This role requires collaboration with business partners, information architects, enterprise architects, business analysts, and external service providers to ensure new capabilities comply with our overall architecture.

You'll be responsible for communicating technical decisions to developers, tech leads, and business stakeholders, as well as building business cases to ensure accurate, optimal, and valuable architecture recommendations.

As a Solution Architect, you'll feel ownership of the solutions you drive and balance speed and quality in delivery. You'll work with internal and external partners and suppliers from multiple countries and cultures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in projects or initiatives to ensure all requirements are covered.
  • Ensure architecture requirements for development, execution, and operations are implemented as designed.
  • Collaborate with other architects to ensure solutions and components work together to meet objectives.
  • Lead IT Architecture analysis, design, and implementation, ensuring policies and standards are followed.
  • Validate requirements and obtain stakeholder buy-in for architecture designs.
  • Create business cases, narratives, and assess architecture impacts for new or changed solutions.
  • Identify and communicate cross-area or cross-release issues affecting other project areas.
  • Support development of architecture reference architecture, including standards and exemptions management.
  • Advocate for change within Essity by seeking out new technologies and trends.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline.
  • More than five years of experience in IT development and business analysis in digital market-facing applications.
  • Knowledge in user experience modeling, information design, and concept generation.
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral.
  • Knowledge of the SDL Tridion platform beneficial.
  • Ability to travel.
