(Junior) IT-Forensic Consultant, eDiscovery and Forensic Data Analytics (m/f/d)

As a (Junior) Consultant (m/f/d) in IT-Forensics & eDiscovery or Forensic Data Analytics, you will assist organizations across various sectors in preventing, detecting, and investigating economic crimes. In the role of an IT Forensics expert, you will leverage technological skills to uncover fraudulent activities within IT systems.

Your Responsibilities
Are you eager to be the technical authority (m/f/d) and contribute to current issues in the prevention and resolution of economic crime? Are you passionate about topics related to computers, data analysis, and machine learning? Do you have a solid understanding of data protection and security within organizations?   • You will assist in internal investigations and the prevention and detection of economic crimes and other misconduct.
  • As part of your role, you will specialize in at least one of the following areas:
    • IT Forensics: You will analyze IT systems for digital traces and artifacts, helping to clarify the digital crime scene. In the event of IT security incidents, you will support our clients in investigations using cyber-forensic examination and analysis methods (Cyber Incident Response).
    • eDiscovery: You will advise the team as an expert (m/f/d) on the technical management of the entire eDiscovery lifecycle, which includes IT forensic data preservation, processing, review management, analytics application, and data production for legal proceedings.
    • Forensic Data Analytics: You will analyze structured data for anomalies and track behavioral patterns. In addition to testing hypotheses and identifying red flags, you will develop strategies to uncover previously undetected fraudulent activities.
  • In collaborative and interdisciplinary teams, you will also support the digitalization of prevention and investigation measures.
Your Profile
  • You will join us as a (Junior) Consultant (m/f/d) in IT-Forensics, eDiscovery, and Forensic Data Analytics with a completed degree in business administration, law, (IT) forensics, (business) informatics, another STEM field, or a banking qualification.
  • Ideally, you have already engaged with digital forensics or economic crime during your studies.
  • Initial practical experience through internships, training at a bank, or student jobs in areas such as (IT) forensics, internal investigations, eDiscovery, data analytics, data protection, anti-money laundering, risk, or compliance is advantageous.
  • You may also have an interest in finance-related processes and systems.
  • You are willing to travel and possess proficiency in German at C1 level and English at B2 level.
