Working Student - ACS DevOps SRE (m/f/d)

About Our Division

Our division, part of Amadeus Cloud Services (ACS), is dedicated to delivering Platform as a Service (PaaS) that will host all Amadeus computing workloads by 2025. Through our collaboration with Red Hat, we leverage Kubernetes and OpenShift to ensure a stable and reliable PaaS. Our standard clusters are enhanced with features tailored to meet the needs of the Amadeus ecosystem, providing various adaptations and automations for secure, resilient, and scalable cluster operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement quality assurance and regression testing for all ACS components.
  • Develop unit tests systematically.
  • Engage in monitoring the Software Development Lifecycle, including scanning, triage, and remediation.
  • Create a maintenance guide for components (covering build, validation, regression, and release).
  • Automate change management processes.
  • Contribute to the development, deployment, and management of the ACS ecosystem.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Pursuing a university degree in computer science or a related technical field (minimum of three semesters completed).
  • Familiarity with platform engineering, software development, and technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Interest in DevOps and optimization of architectural resources.
  • Possess a strong analytical mindset, with a passion for developing optimal solutions for clients, and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability for 20 hours per week for student responsibilities.
