Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join our team. As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will design and develop Spring Boot based microservices, work on new features, and improve our existing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Spring Boot based microservices
  • Work on new features and improve existing systems
  • Discuss software architectures, create proofs of concept, and evaluate new technologies
  • Work closely with designers, product owners, and developers in a product-focused environment
  • Independently keep yourself up to date on new technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented software development with Java and Web technologies like RESTful Web Services
  • Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring
  • Experience with build tools and versioning systems (Gitlab CI, Maven, GIT, Sonar)
  • Experience in software development and operation of high-availability Java web applications for processing large transaction volumes in real-time

Desired Skills

  • Experience with SQL/NO-SQL databases, microservices, container-based applications, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with automated software quality assurance and agile development methods in a continuous delivery environment
  • Excellent communication skills, open to new ideas, and enjoy working in an agile team
  • Fluency in German and English
