Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join our team at HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing FPGA architectures for visual and infrared camera systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis and conception of FPGA architectures for camera systems
- Design of FPGA modules based on requirements
- Implementation of FPGA modules on hardware platforms
- Programming and simulation of FPGA modules
- Supervision of internal and external development partners
- Integration of development results
- Creation and implementation of integration and system tests
- Definition and documentation of hardware and software interfaces
- Hardware-related programming of the FPGA interface in C/C++
- Documentation of design and development
Requirements
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer engineering, communications engineering, or comparable field
- Experience with systems-on-chip, preferably Xilinx-Zynq UltraScale+ series and Xilinx Vivado Design Suite
- Experience in signal processing and digital image processing
- Programming knowledge in software development under Linux for hardware-related platforms
- Very good knowledge of VHDL and Verilog for FPGA programming
- Analytical thinking skills and willingness to take on personal responsibility
- Team player with strong social skills and enthusiasm
- Innovative spirit and creativity
- Good knowledge of German and English
