As a Senior Solution Architect at EWE AG, you will play a pivotal role in the evolution of our IT platform tailored for private clients. This position offers you the chance to influence the future of the energy sector significantly. You will oversee the enhancement, optimization, and governance of software solutions while also defining the IT architecture for both private and commercial customer segments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging your technical expertise to convert business needs into innovative IT solution frameworks. You may engage in coding, scripting, and cloud configurations to guarantee the quality of outputs from external service providers.
  • Collaborating with your team to design bespoke software solutions, continuously refining and advancing our IT platform.
  • Ensuring the reliability of the system architecture. Your commitment and knowledge will be crucial in maintaining seamless operations.
  • Working alongside a cross-functional team and external partners to drive projects to successful completion, taking ownership of their execution.

What you will bring:

  • A strong background in IT, with a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, ready to help us shape the energy industry's future.
  • Extensive hands-on development experience with programming languages such as Typescript, Go, or Rust, and familiarity with tools like GitHub or AzureDevOps.
  • A passion for cloud technologies, particularly AWS and Azure, which you explore with enthusiasm.
  • A natural inclination to prioritize observability and operability in your solutions.
  • Familiarity with architectural patterns and Domain-Driven Design, integrating these concepts into your daily tasks.
