Job Overview:

As a Project Director at attocube systems, you will be responsible for spearheading innovative projects at the forefront of nanotechnology. Your role will involve bridging the gap between cutting-edge nanotechnology and market-leading solutions.

  • Identification and strategic planning of new market and technology trends
  • Benchmarking relevant technologies in our market
  • Active participation in developing functional specifications
  • Design and development of demonstrators. Conducting tests during the demonstrator phase
  • Following through on projects until the implementation and introduction of demonstrators internally and with customers
  • Creating technical documentation for knowledge transfer and retention

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans to drive innovation and growth
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project opportunities
  • Manage project budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of company assets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Physics or Engineering OR Master's degree in Physics or Engineering with at least two years of experience in academic research or industry
  • Strong analytical skills in signal-to-noise analysis in mechanical, electronic, and optical/photonics circuits
  • Ability to approach new technological concepts methodically and model them mathematically
  • Motivation to expand and share knowledge, with strong scientific and technical writing and communication skills
