Job Title: Senior Research Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Director to join our team at dentsu. As a key member of our commercial market research team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and delivering world-class insights to our clients.

About the Role:

The Senior Research Director will be responsible for leading and executing a wide range of market research projects, from qualitative and quantitative studies to ad-hoc and tracking projects. You will work closely with our clients to understand their research needs and develop winning proposals to secure new business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing outbound business development initiatives to grow the DACH business
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to build and communicate a DACH marketing plan to deliver growth in the DACH region
  • Overseeing research projects from start to finish, translating complex data into impactful insights and recommendations for clients
  • Owning and fostering relationships with clients, finding opportunities to rejuvenate lapsed clients and growing the size of existing accounts
  • Mentoring and guiding team members to enhance their client management skills and insight capabilities
Requirements:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in commercial market research. Key requirements include:

  • At least 10+ years of experience in commercial market research, with a track record of success
  • Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and nurture client relationships, designing research projects to answer client objectives
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in German and English, with the ability to articulate findings in a compelling and engaging manner
  • Experience across the full-research lifecycle, managing a range of market research projects and ensuring the execution of multiple projects simultaneously
