Industrial Coating Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Coating Specialist to join our team at Rolls-Royce Power Systems. As a key member of our remanufacturing team, you will be responsible for preparing our product lines for coating, ensuring the application of corrosion protection, and overseeing the entire coating process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare products for coating, including surface preparation and masking
  • Apply coatings to meet specified thickness requirements, including quality control and potential rework
  • Operate pumps and coating equipment, including hoses and guns
  • Coat motors, systems, and individual components
  • Conduct quality control checks and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare products for shipment, including packaging and labeling
  • Inspect product-related packaging
  • Coordinate with quality assurance to ensure end-of-line inspection and testing

Requirements

  • Completed, minimum 3-year, industry-specific vocational training as an Industrial Coater
  • Multiple years of coating experience
  • Comfortable working in a workshop environment
  • Valid license for operating cranes and forklifts
  • Structured and process-oriented approach
