Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team at N Consulting Ltd. This role is pivotal in shaping our network infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance across various projects.
Location: Hybrid role based in Erlangen, Germany.
Qualifications:
- Minimum certifications: CCNA, CCNP; CCIE certification is advantageous.
- Extensive experience in managing data centers and network operations.
- 12+ years of expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive solutions for Transition and Transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and document network architecture frameworks, including both high-level and detailed network designs.
- Collaborate with various Technology OEMs to create and refine Bill of Materials.
- Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to integrate innovative solutions into network architectures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers.
- Engage in architecture review boards, offering insights and recommendations on network-related projects.
Essential Skills:
- Strong knowledge of network administration processes and principles.
- Excellent customer interaction capabilities and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Meticulous attention to detail, along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth understanding of routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), VPN, and wireless technologies.
- Proficient in wired/wireless networking and network security practices.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Additional certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, and CCIE are beneficial.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Experience with SDLAN (CISCO SDA), CISCO DNAC, CISCO ISE, BIG IP, DDI, and SDWAN technologies.
- Familiarity with tools for design and implementation, including ThousandEyes, CISCO Spaces, and Stealthwatch.
- Solid understanding of security technologies.
Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension.
