As an Electrical Technician at 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of protection, control, and metering technology in our network area. This includes all protective, control, and metering devices that enable the use of typical equipment components in a transmission network, such as transformers.
You will be involved in the procurement of necessary work, plan and execute safety measures (de-energizing and de-circuiting of partial systems) at the work site, coordinate and monitor the execution by external companies, parameterize protective, control, and metering devices according to specifications, and participate in complex functional tests.
In the context of the work, you will perform switching operations on the network to enable safe working in affected sections. For this, you will coordinate with responsible colleagues and, when necessary, release the work site for work (workplace releases).
Key Responsibilities- Completed training as a master or technician (m/f/d) in the field of electrical engineering or energy technology
- Relevant work experience (one to three years) and comprehensive knowledge of the operation of high-voltage network equipment, particularly in substation technology
- Knowledge of relevant testing and parameterization software
- Valid driver's license for a car
- Excellent German language skills (C1)
- Knowledge of SAP and MS-Office, as well as the ability to work at heights, will make your application even more interesting for us
- Working hours: 37 hours per week (full-time)
- Flexible working hours with a long-term account to support your work-life balance
