Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Manager to join our Asset Management team at Mazars GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in the yearly and consolidated financial statement audits of Asset Management companies, following German Commercial Code (HGB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) with a risk-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Audits: Participate in the audits of Asset Management companies, ensuring compliance with HGB and IFRS.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze business models, processes, and results, addressing questions related to accounting, valuation, and regulatory issues.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of 5 to 10 colleagues as (Senior) Manager, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ancillary Services: Conduct audits of ancillary services and provide statements on regulatory topics.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Economics or Law, preferably with a focus on auditing, taxes, accounting, or finance.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in auditing financial statements of banks, Asset Management companies, or financial service providers under HGB and IFRS.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in personnel management and strong leadership skills.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in German and English.
