Job Title: Test Engineer

Luxoft Germany is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the verification and validation of our software systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of test environments and test automation systems.
  • Design, implement, and document test cases and test plans for our next-generation infotainment product.
  • Support various test activities, including regression testing, system testing, and end-of-line testing.
  • Implement, execute, and document test cases to ensure the quality of our software.
  • Identify effective test strategies for new and existing features and craft test plans accordingly.
  • Support the development team in reproducing bugs and verifying bug fixes.
  • Analyze logs, test specs, and test scripts to ensure the quality of our software.
  • Perform vehicle logs analysis, including DLT logs and Ethernet/CAN logs.
  • Develop test approaches and analyze issues detected during testing or reported by others.
  • Work closely with developers to resolve issues and validate software changes.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Squish, Python, and Robot Framework.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in electronic engineering, computer science, or a comparable field.
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile principles.
  • Experience in manual SW & HW testing.
  • Open to learning new technologies and adjusting to new ways of working.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Hands-on experience in the automotive domain, including CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, diagnostics, variant coding, and flashing ECUs.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, including scripting, programming, and verification.
  • JIRA/Confluence user.
  • Technical background.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • European driver's license (Class B) with 1-2 years of driving experience in Germany.
  • Good knowledge of automation frameworks, particularly Robot Framework.
  • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline creation.
  • F2 license to drive test vehicles.
  • German language skills.

  • English: B2 Upper Intermediate.
