**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Blacklane. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and applying data science models to solve real-world problems in the mobility sector.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the development and end-to-end implementation of machine learning models, including demand forecasting, pricing optimization, customer lifetime value, and churn prediction models.
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Serve as a trusted expert in data science and ML, providing guidance and mentorship to other team members and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the data team.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in modeling business problems using machine learning techniques, including feature engineering, choice of model, implementation, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and/or mentor less experienced team members by sharing data science knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Continuous learning, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
