About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our agile team culture and lead the development of complex microservices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement highly scalable and efficient microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Lead a team of Java Developers and mentor them in the latest technologies and methodologies.
  • Take ownership of your work and maintain perspective, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Explore and choose the best tools and technologies for each project, staying up-to-date with industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with Java and Java frameworks, including Spring Boot.
  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and service-oriented architectures with RESTful APIs.
  • Sound knowledge of technologies such as Kafka, Spark, and Elastic Search.
  • Experience with stream processing frameworks, software build tools, and continuous integration tools.
  • Experience with Continuous Delivery and Containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL data stores, with a good understanding of deployment and availability guarantees.
