Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to embark on an apprenticeship in the flooring industry. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop essential skills and knowledge in various aspects of floor covering.

Training Components:

  • Familiarization with different types of floor coverings and materials
  • Learning to perform calculations related to flooring projects
  • Understanding wood types and laying patterns
  • Conducting quality assurance checks
  • Ensuring workplace safety

Practical Experience:

  • Cutting, adhering, and installing various floor coverings
  • Preparing subfloors through filling, sanding, and cleaning
  • Measuring spaces and determining material requirements
  • Creating sketches and plans for installations
  • Maintaining and cleaning installed floors
  • Producing insulation materials
  • Engaging with clients to understand their needs
