Flight Test Operations Engineer

As a key member of our Flight Test Team, you will leverage your technical and operational knowledge in Electric Propulsion Systems (EPS) to conduct Ground and Flight tests for both crewed and uncrewed aircraft configurations. Your primary responsibilities will take place locally, with occasional assignments at remote testing sites.
Your Responsibilities:
- Engage in the planning, oversight, and enhancement of Ground and Flight Test activities related to electric aircraft development and certification, focusing on EPS and overall aircraft functionality.
- Assist in the preparation, inspection, and maintenance of aircraft before and after testing.
- Oversee the mechanical integration of Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) systems into the aircraft and manage the coordination of interfaces with relevant systems.
- Participate in the evaluation and documentation of test results, including troubleshooting and the creation of standardized analysis and reporting tools.
- Contribute to engineering projects that necessitate technological advancements and associated development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Over 15 years of experience in aeronautical engineering, particularly in development and certification processes.
- Proficiency in electric propulsion systems.
- Experience in the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of propulsion system testing.
- Familiarity with Siemens NX or similar CAD design and analysis tools.
- Professional-level proficiency in the English language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in rotorcraft flight testing.
- Experience in Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO).
- Previous roles as a Material Review Board (MRB) Liaison Engineer or Flight Test Analysis Engineer.
