We specialize in supporting clients across various areas of corporate taxation, including income tax, corporation tax, and trade tax. Our focus lies within the Banking / Financial Services sector, working with international banks, German financial institutions, and FinTech companies.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice to national and international credit and financial service institutions on a wide range of tax matters.
- Prepare comprehensive tax returns, calculations, and capital gains tax returns.
- Assist in determining current and deferred taxes for quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Support clients during tax audits and provide assistance with objection and litigation procedures.
- Conduct in-depth research on specific tax topics.
- Contribute to the development of tax opinions, expert reports, and strategic tax planning strategies.
- Maintain direct contact and communication with clients.
- Collaborate effectively with other WTS teams, including VAT, capital gains tax, and transfer pricing specialists.

Your Profile
- A degree in Economics, Law, or a related field, ideally with a focus on Taxes, Accounting, and/or Group Accounting.
- Practical experience gained through internships or working student positions in these areas.
- A genuine interest in tackling new challenges and thinking creatively.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills and a highly motivated attitude.
- Proficiency in German, English, and MS Office; experience with DATEV is a plus.
