KPMG - Senior Consultant Digital Banking

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant Digital Banking to join our team at KPMG-Germany. As a key member of our Financial Services Strategy and Management Consulting department, you will play a crucial role in advising credit institutions, insurance companies, asset management companies, and real estate businesses on digital transformation, bank formations, business model strategy development, and cost and process optimization.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Work as a Senior Consultant Digital Banking with a strong background in Economics, Humanities, or Natural Sciences.
  • Bring industry experience in Financial Services, preferably in Corporate Banking or Capital Markets.
  • Have a passion for new technologies and their impact on the business and operating models of banks, financial service companies, and FinTechs.
  • Gain project experience in areas like Digitalization, Digital Assets/Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Business Model Transformation, Process Modeling, or Outsourcing.
  • Be familiar with Agile project methodologies (SCRUM or KANBAN) and tools like Jira.
  • Show motivation for personal and team development, along with strong consulting skills.
Your Profile:

  • As a Senior Consultant, support clients in their digital transformation journey and develop sustainable business and operating models considering evolving customer needs, changing value chains, and new technologies (especially Cloud Services, DLT).
  • Advise banks, financial service companies, and FinTechs in crafting and implementing their Digital Assets Strategy, including supporting the development of DLT-based business models and infrastructure.
  • Work on initiatives for reorientation and digitization of business models, institution building, and revenue enhancement.
  • Regularly scout new technologies and assess opportunities for client implementation.
  • Contribute as a member of project teams with motivated colleagues, encountering exciting challenges together at client sites.
  • Possibly take on initial team leadership duties and lead workshops to present project results to clients.
  • Join the rapidly growing Management Consulting team at KPMG and help evolve the consultancy offering in Digital Assets, DLT Infrastructures, and Platform and Process Excellence with the Future of Banking Team.
