Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our team at Omio. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our global tax strategies, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing tax advice to our business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global tax strategies to minimize tax risks and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax advice to our business units on tax planning, compliance, and risk management.
- Manage and maintain our global transfer pricing system, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.
- Support the development and implementation of new products and services from a tax perspective.
- Collaborate with our external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- University degree or vocational training in tax or accounting-related areas.
- German taxation experience.
- Fluent German and English language skills (verbal and written).
- Tax Advisor exam preferred but not required.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for building and optimizing processes.
- A 'can-do' attitude and initiative to take ownership and drive projects.
