Cloud Native Architect Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Native Architect to join our team at CPS Group (UK) Limited. As a Cloud Native Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-native applications that are scalable, reliable, and performant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Architecture: Design cloud-native applications that meet scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
  • Application Refactoring: Assist in refactoring existing applications to run as microservices on Kubernetes environments.
  • Application Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters using Helm Charts and a GitOps workflow.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using CI/CD tools. Promote DevOps best practices, including GitOps, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop, migrate, and operationalize modules of the Settlement Platform. Participate in SCRUM ceremonies.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation using Confluence and manage project tasks and workflows using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.

This is a rolling contract with a duration of 4+ years. You will be required to work on-site 1 week per month (25%) and will receive travel expenses. If you are interested in this opportunity, please email me for the full job description and to arrange an alignment call.
