Vehicle Logistics Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our EMEA Fleet team at Dexcom. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the fleet needs of our EMEA employee base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support fleet operations, including vehicle ordering, timely deliveries to new starters or car changers, collection of cars from leavers, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Engage with fleet partners to ensure optimal fleet efficiency and availability.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service.
  • Assist drivers with vehicle purchase and ensure adherence to the EMEA Company Car Policy conditions.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, drivers, and external partners to overcome operational challenges.
  • Maintain records of the fleet database to keep an accurate register of vehicles and drivers.
  • Contribute to accident and insurance management, internal and external audits.
  • Review Rental and Maintenance invoices for accuracy.
  • Contribute to the effective maintenance of the EMEA Company Car Policy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 1+ years' experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient verbal / written communication in English (German or any other language is an advantage).
  • Keen attention to detail, ability to quickly learn systems.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, organized, and able to work within a team and independently.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work in a fast-paced/growing company.
