Job Title: Senior Desktop Engineer

Join Certara as a Senior Desktop Engineer and play a key role in shaping the future of our IT infrastructure. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our desktop environment, ensuring seamless user experiences and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement desktop infrastructure solutions that meet business needs and align with company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials to support end-users and IT staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our desktop environment.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and success.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in desktop engineering, with a strong focus on Windows operating systems, management of end-user productivity apps, and standard associated technologies.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead, inspire, and motivate team members.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work, including medium to large projects.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of Windows Desktop x64 operating systems.
