Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to manage our company's payable accounts efficiently and accurately. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying transactions, reconciling discrepancies, and managing travel expense transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Transaction Processing: Review and process employee travel expenses in accordance with company policies, reconciling expenses with supporting documentation and receipts.
- Accounting and Compliance: Code travel expense transactions with appropriate accounts, VAT codes, and cost centers, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable operations.
- Ad Hoc Requests: Handle ad hoc requests as assigned by management.
- Education: Currently studying economics with a focus on finance and a strong drive to learn new things.
- Skills: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, passion for analyzing transactions and identifying discrepancies, excellent English communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office or G-Suite.
- Experience: Experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Personal Qualities: Strong organizational and time management skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
