IT Services and Cyber Security Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Services and Cyber Security Manager to oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and ensure the security of data and network operations across European operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT and cyber security strategy aligned with technological trends, organizational goals, and regulatory requirements.
- Cyber Security Management: Lead efforts to safeguard information systems against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches, including managing security tools, conducting risk assessments, and developing response plans for security incidents.
- Team Leadership: Manage a highly motivated team of IT, application developers, and cyber security professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and continuous skill development.
- Technology Oversight: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and upgrading of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems (ERP), and security systems, including managing vendor relationships, budgeting, and procurement of technology solutions.
- Incident Management: Lead the response to IT and security incidents, minimizing impact, conducting post-incident analysis, and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Education and Awareness: Lead initiatives to promote IT and cyber security awareness within the organization, including training programs and regular communication on potential threats and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in operational infrastructure support, with at least 5+ years of IT management experience
- Ability to travel ~25% to service and manage other European locations
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
- Strong experience with ERP systems and application databases, preferably Oracle and Sage
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning, development, and operations
- Strong problem-solving, analytics, and research capabilities, with the ability to handle changing priorities, deal with ambiguity, and use good judgment in stressful situations
- Ability to lead by example and demonstrate integrity, outstanding interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in English and German, with French being a plus
