Produce Merchandiser

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our team at E center Friedebold. As a Sales Associate for Fresh Produce, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to our customers in the fruit and vegetable department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that the produce department is well-stocked and visually appealing, with a focus on freshness and quality.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our produce products, including their origin, seasonality, and nutritional benefits.
• Collaborate with the store management team to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
• Participate in visual merchandising and display of produce products to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the grocery industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
