Job Description

Nuclear Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Technology Specialist to join our team at Robur. As a Nuclear Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating the nuclide inventory of waste and products based on analytical data and existing declarations, as well as performing re-declarations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation of nuclide inventory of waste and products
  • Application and conversion of radiation protection limits according to StrlSchG and StrlSchV
  • Creation and internal review of concepts for end-of-life documentation and maintenance of radiation protection approvals
  • Coordination of container acceptance and collaboration with radiation protection experts
  • Development of action plans for project goals
  • Collection and analysis of project data for status reports and development of recommendations for future actions

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a natural science or technical field, preferably Nuclear Applications, Nuclear Technology, Nuclear Waste Management, Nuclear Chemistry, Radiation Protection, or Nuclear Physics
  • Fluent German language skills are required, additional language skills are an asset
  • Knowledge of radiation protection (StrlSchG and StrlSchV) and nuclear physics (Nuclear Applications, Nuclear Technology, Nuclear Waste Management)
  • Strong team skills and customer-oriented approach
