Scientific Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Consultant to join our team at Brain Products GmbH. As a key member of our global support team, you will provide expert guidance and support to our customers and distributors, ensuring the effective utilization of our neurophysiological hardware and signal acquisition software.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support to our global customer base, including troubleshooting, consultation, and training services.
- Sample Data Analysis: Analyze sample data to identify opportunities for optimizing customer setups and improve the overall performance of our products.
- Repair Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the initiation and management of repair processes to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer issues.
- Training and Documentation: Develop training materials for workshops and compose articles for press releases to enhance our customers' knowledge and skills.
- Collaboration and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between customers/distributors and product management/development teams to facilitate the enhancement of existing products and the development of new ones.
- Research or Laboratory Experience: A strong background in research or laboratory settings, preferably in a relevant field such as neuroscience, psychology, (bio)physics, biomedical technology, or a related discipline.
- Technical Expertise: Practical experience in the acquisition and analysis of bio signals, with a solid understanding of their key characteristics, particularly concerning EEG. Experience with fMRI is beneficial.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, ranging from novices to experts.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Proficiency in German is desirable.
