Senior UI/UX Designer and Technical Content Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Designer and Technical Content Specialist to join our team at PlanerAI, a cutting-edge company focused on developing innovative solutions for the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for our B2B application, aligning with our product goals and brand identity.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Develop wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to convey design concepts and functionality, and conduct user interviews and usability tests to gather insights and revise designs for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with frontend developers and the product manager to ensure the technical feasibility of design concepts and user requirements, and establish design guidelines and ensure consistency.
  • Documentation and Translation: Contribute significantly to the documentation and translation of our platform, ensuring the quality and consistency of software texts and online help, creating and updating technical documentation to ensure information is understandable and accessible to users, and working with the product team to optimize translations and ensure product localization.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience as a UI/UX Designer in the realm of complex B2B products, with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, user interface design, and user experience methods.
  • Skills: Proficiency in design software like Figma or similar tools, strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams and conduct customer interviews, and the ability to translate user research findings and user interviews into actionable design improvements.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of front-end development technologies like VueJS and Vuetify and their impact on design decisions is beneficial.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
