Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to provide expert advice on sheet metal production and assembly, both via phone and in-person.
  • Manage inquiries independently: evaluate feasibility, assess opportunities and risks, and prepare manufacturing calculations.
  • Collaborate with production and management to prepare accurate quotes.
  • Negotiate quotes actively to secure order placements.
  • Coordinate essential details such as delivery schedules, payment conditions, and other order-related aspects.
  • Oversee order processing and prepare for manufacturing operations.
  • Source quotes for outsourcing, place orders, and negotiate terms effectively.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through consistent communication and consultation.

Requirements:

  • Passion for sales and customer service.
  • Technical qualifications (engineer, technician, master) or at least 2 years of relevant experience in the sheet metal sector.
  • Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; CAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, ERP, and PDF applications.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive work ethic.
  • Professional communication skills with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Fluency in German at C1 level or higher.
