About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrialization Engineer (m/w/d) to join our team at Michelin. As an Industrialization Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our company by driving innovation and industrialization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Industrialization and Optimization: You will be responsible for defining, industrializing, and optimizing pre-products, mixtures, and tire models in our Bad Kreuznach plant. You will also support production in achieving ongoing production targets.
  • Quality Planning and Industrialization Studies: You will be the key interface for quality planning of various development projects and will conduct industrialization studies. You will be the point of contact for the corporate headquarters in product/process and method development and will support the training of new colleagues.
  • Analysis and Evaluation: You will analyze and evaluate the results of prototypes and pre-series, and assess the industrial feasibility. You will also create technical dossiers for the production department.
  • Development and Innovation: You will develop study rules and tools in collaboration with the central office. You will also participate in quality planning for process and material changes.
Requirements
  • Education: You have a completed university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality Management, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: You bring initial professional experience in a production environment.
  • Skills: You are IT-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office programs. You communicate fluently in German (C2), French (B2), and ideally in English (B2) in writing and speaking.
  • Personal Qualities: You work methodically, efficiently, and demonstrate strong initiative. Your flexibility and ability to animate and moderate groups are key strengths.
