Export Specialist (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and documentation of maintenance schedules.
  • Proactive maintenance and servicing of production equipment and technical infrastructure in accordance with maintenance guidelines.
  • Troubleshooting, repair, or coordination of repairs for production equipment and technical infrastructure.
  • Programming and troubleshooting of PLC controls.
  • Documentation of maintenance and service activities in the MES system in compliance with ISO standards.
  • Ensuring and continuously improving quality standards.
  • Central point of contact for all customs and foreign trade legal matters.
  • Management of all customs-related authorizations (e.g., Authorized Economic Operator, Registered Exporter).
  • Obtaining binding tariff information and implementing the list binding of existing EU agreements regarding preferential rights.
  • Continuous enhancement of all customs processes (internal/external).
  • Monitoring imports and exports concerning declarations, prohibitions, restrictions, and compliance with trade policy and legal requirements of export control law and applicable customs regulations.
  • Conducting internal training sessions.
  • Creating and assisting in the implementation of process-oriented work and organizational instructions within the company.
  • Reviewing and, if necessary, supplementing newly created materials regarding customs-relevant master data.

Your Profile:
  • You possess a completed commercial or logistics training along with further education in customs.
  • Alternatively, you may have a comparable degree in logistics or international trade.
  • You have extensive knowledge in customs regulations.
  • Proficient in German and English, both spoken and written; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Competent in MS Office, with good SAP knowledge being advantageous.
  • You work meticulously, carefully, and independently.
  • A team player with a high degree of helpfulness.
  • A friendly and confident demeanor completes your profile.
  • You have completed training as an electronics technician for automation technology, mechatronics technician, or industrial electronics technician.
  • Alternatively, you have relevant experience with qualifications for electrical work.
  • You work analytically and independently.
  • Familiarity with Siemens and B&R PLC controls.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ideally experienced with ERP and MES systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and cross-departmental coordination abilities round out your profile.
