Welding Supervisor

Job Description:
As a Welding Supervisor at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of welding operations on turbine and generator projects worldwide. You will oversee the organization, coordination, and supervision of welding personnel, as well as document their work. You will be the point of contact for the project manager, customers, and the team on site or in the back office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the necessary qualifications of personnel on site
- Document the work on site
- Oversee the organization, coordination, and supervision of welding personnel
- Ensure the quality and safety of welding operations
Requirements:
- 90% worldwide travel readiness
- Fluent German and English language skills (additional language skills are desirable but not required)
- First experience with mechanized/robotic welding systems
- Excellent practical experience in common welding processes
- Knowledge of standards and regulations (ISO 3834/AD 2000/ASME/ISO 9606/ISO 14731/etc.)
- Completed training as a welding technician according to DVS-EWF or IIW guidelines or equivalent
