About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BPM Java Developer to join our team at E.ON Digital Technology. As a BPM Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and design automation solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Plan and estimate the implementation efforts for user stories, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Develop full-stack BPM solutions using Java, Hibernate, and BPM platforms, from backend to frontend.
  • Stay up-to-date with recent market and technology trends, sharing knowledge with the team to drive innovation.
  • Take ownership of solutions and ensure high-quality delivery on the long-term.
  • Write and update technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT, computer science, software development, or equivalent.
  • Several years of professional experience in agile software development, ideally as a BPM Developer.
  • Ability to build creative business process management solutions.
  • Experience in backend/full-stack software development with Java and Hibernate.
  • Skilled in frontend/full-stack development with JSF, PrimeFaces, React, or similar.
  • Knowledge of BPM technologies, ideally in Camunda, jBPM, or similar.
  • Open-minded to new technologies and collaboration.
  • Fluent in English and German.
