Lead Consultant Cloud Strategy & Transformation (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
Are you eager to advance the Financial Services CIO Services with your enthusiasm for IT and technological advancements? Here’s how you can contribute:

  • Provide consultancy to our clients in crafting forward-thinking IT and Cloud strategies for financial institutions.
  • As a member of our team, assess the business and application landscape of our clients and develop meaningful strategic roadmaps for cloud integration as part of their digital transformation.
  • Additionally, create governance frameworks (e.g., establishing a Cloud Center of Excellence) and enhance organizations and processes to leverage Cloud services effectively (Cloud Operating Model).
  • Guide our clients through their Cloud transformation journeys, particularly with major Cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Integrate business acumen and technological expertise with regulatory and process-oriented requirements to formulate actionable recommendations for our clients.
  • Take on project and potentially team leadership roles, conduct client meetings, and represent the outcomes of your work to clients.
  • Expand client relationships and develop consulting products at KPMG.
  • Utilize your expertise to assist colleagues in preparing proposals for client projects, ideally bringing an existing network for new business acquisition.
Your Profile
  • To become a Lead Consultant (m/f/d) in Cloud Strategy & Transformation, you should possess a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You have several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in IT consulting or within the IT departments of financial service companies.
  • You bring practical experience in designing and implementing Cloud strategies.
  • You have a keen interest in technology and stay informed about new developments and trends, particularly in Cloud services.
  • You have already gained experience in project management and possibly in leadership roles.
  • Your knowledge encompasses organization, management, or applications in banking and insurance sectors.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, along with a willingness to travel, complete your qualifications.
