Quality Manager

EMKA Beschlagteile GmbH & Co. KG stands as a premier entity in the manufacturing of closures, hinges, and seals utilized in electronic and electrical control cabinets. Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive integrated management system (IMS) aligned with the High Level Structure.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards and relevant regulations.
  • Continuously enhance quality processes, engage in the development of process metrics, and prepare management reviews.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality management processes and methodologies.
  • Lead the enhancement of the IMS in collaboration with colleagues in safety, health, and environmental protection (EHS).
  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements, and prepare, present, and follow up on audit reports.
  • Facilitate coordination with internal and external parties to oversee audit implementation.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions.
  • Report directly to the Head of Quality, Environmental, and Energy Management.
  • Formulate recommendations for strategic initiatives within EMKA's manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with experience in developing and managing quality management systems.
  • Certification as an internal ISO 9001 auditor, with a preference for experience in ISO 14001.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and VDA 6.3 quality management systems and standards.
  • Strong technical acumen in manufacturing environments.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in documentation, process standardization, and methodical work practices.
  • Experience in conducting both internal and external audits.
  • Confident, persuasive, and approachable demeanor with a comprehensive perspective.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
